When we reduce chronic absence we improve graduation rates, increase academic achievement and give young people the best chance at success in their adult life.
Missing 10% of school days, just 2 days each month, can put children at risk of academic failure.
Establishing consistent, predictable routines for learning every day is essential to attendance & participation in all modes of learning

The Lady Cards travelled to Painesville on Saturday to play a trimatch against Harvey and Chaney.
The JV Ladies split their matches. Sophia played fantastic offense leading the day with 14 aces and 15 kills. Kat had 11 assists. and Bella had 7 digs.
The Varsity won both of their games and improved their record to 5-4. Mady had 14 kills, Tessa had 17 points and 19 assists, Neveah and Hannah each had 5 aces.
Tonight the Jr. High and High School Ladies travel to Lordstown to take on the Red Devils. Good Luck!

September is Attendance Awareness Month! Attendance Awareness Month is a nationwide recognition of the connection between regular school attendance and academic achievement. This month highlights the importance of mobilizing schools, families and community partners to promote regular attendance by developing tiered strategies and personalized interventions to reduce chronic absence.
Chronic absence affects all kids, not just the absent ones.
