Science Club made some holiday ornaments. The purpose of this experiment is to prepare a “silver mirror” holiday ornament by mixing silver–ammonia complex ions with dextrose inside a glass ornament ball. The silver complex ions needed for the reaction will be generated by mixing dilute silver nitrate, ammonium nitrate, and sodium hydroxide solution
