Yesterday, Bloomfield Cross Country took a road trip down to the Canfield Fairgrounds for the Suburban League Championship. They turned in some terrific performances on a challenging course. For the high school girls, Abigail ran consistently as always, running gutsy through multiple uphill inclines and held it together through a tough mile 3 to finish in a time of 26:38. She finished up 77th out of 142 against some extremely tough opponents and capped off a great Suburban League Season. For the middle school boys, Jackson ran a race that was paced to perfection. He ran a well-paced first mile up a long incline in a pack with multiple opponents. Then in mile 2, he pressed past many rivals and exhibited a great finishing kick to finish up in 14:04, by far one of his best times this season, and a 56th place out of 155 runners. Congratulations to our runners, and we look forward to awesome performances in Lordstown this Saturday!
